With the famous designer Manish Malhotra and “London school of trends “ she opened her clothing brand with the brand name “jyots_couture”
She earned her degree in Textile & apparel design from IFT, The MS University of Baroda.
She founded her brand of “jyots couture” in 2019 with two sewing machines, and the support of her family.
Over the decades, her contemporary sensibility, deep understanding of the Indian customer and affinity for indigenous crafts have shaped the “Jyots couture” aesthetic into a unique and much-loved one. Her designs are now synonymous with modern, global Indian chic, with a signature blend of lightness, practicality and femininity.
She’s also working with Indian grassroots people with their different origins crafts products. who is deeply committed to sustainability, animal welfare and women empowerment, Jyoti gives her time and energy to promoting awareness about the issues she believes in.
